Composition: stalks, leaves and flowers of thyme - Thymus serpyllum, fam. Lamiaceae.
Action: intestinal antiseptic, carminative, diuretic, aperitif tonic, vermifuge, expectorant and calming of the cough center; stimulates bile secretions.
Usage: traditionally in enterocolitis, flatulence, helminthiasis, anorexia, bronchitis, asthma, coughs of various etiologies.
Method of preparation: Infusion. Pour a cup of boiling water over 1 tablespoon of the product, cover for 10-15 minutes, then strain and consume at room temperature.
Method of administration: 2-3 cups/day.
