Blackberry Jam - Razvan Idicel - 380g

Răzvan Idicel Blackberry Jam is made from ripe blackberries, picked in mid-summer, when the fruits are succulent and have the most intense aroma. It is cooked slowly in a cauldron over a wood fire, in a process that preserves the wild character of the fruit and the natural balance between sweet and tart.

We use 70% blackberries, carefully selected from clean and unpolluted areas. We simmer them slowly in their own juice, with a reduced amount of sugar, just enough to bind the jam and enhance the fruit's aroma. The result is a dense, creamy jam with a deep taste and a slight rustic note, characteristic of real blackberries.

This is not a delicate jam. It's one with personality, intense, suitable for those who seek clear, authentic, uncompromising tastes.

Preparation method

In the summer months, ripe blackberries are hand-picked and brought to Idicel Pădure. They are carefully washed and placed directly into the cauldron, along with the sugar. They simmer slowly, over a wood fire, in their own juice, until the jam acquires a creamy consistency and a natural sheen.

It is poured hot into sterilized jars and left to rest, to stabilize the flavors.
