Băneasa keeps the tradition and offers us the Băneasa Martyrs, Wallachian martyrs. The dough from which the traditional Wallachian martyrs are made is a simple (lenten) dough obtained from well-sifted flour, lukewarm water and salt. On the morning of March 9, they are boiled in a broth of water, a pinch of salt, a little sugar or honey, cinnamon and vanilla. Enjoy!
