The benefits of sea buckthorn
General tonic. It is considered a good anti-inflammatory, cicatrizing, antibiotic and even anti-carcinogenic.
There are also references to its aphrodisiac benefits or its ability to postpone the unpleasant effects of aging.
Other properties of sea buckthorn: cleans the blood vessels, helps the central nervous system, reduces inflammation of the spleen.
The antioxidants in sea buckthorn fruits (vitamins C, E, carotene, flavonoids) help the body fight free radicals. Sea buckthorn-based products add to the general tone, improve memory, help eliminate stress and regulate body functions.
Contraindications:
Administered according to the recommended doses, sea buckthorn has no adverse effects, but only benefits the body. However, there are also a number of contraindications.
Due to its strong energizing effects, sea buckthorn or sea buckthorn preparations should not be consumed after 3-4 pm. The juice is ideal to be consumed in the morning instead of coffee.
Because it slows down blood clotting, sea buckthorn should not be consumed in parallel with the administration of anticoagulant and anti-platelet drugs such as Aspirin, Diclofenac or Ibuprofen.
People who are going to have a surgical intervention are advised to stop consuming sea buckthorn to avoid the risk of heavy bleeding.
Do not consume sea buckthorn if you suffer from allergies, asthma, cholecystitis or acute pancreatitis!
